Baking Soda An Important Cheap Medicine

THERE WAS A TIME, DECADES AGO, WHEN DOCTORS WOULD PRESCRIBE BICARBONATE OF SODA, AKA BAKING SODA, mixed with water to patients suffering from influenza or other temporary ills. By the way, baking soda does not contain aluminium, baking powder usually does.

Now its efficacious use is known by only a handful of holistic medical practitioners. Though not part of the medical establishment’s “standard of care,” which if not followed can result in an MD’s loss of license to practice, bicarbonate of soda has been used by paramedics and ER attendants for extreme emergencies. A handful of MDs have even discretely used it on kidney patients to augment or avoid dialysis.

Now a medical study has reported indications of dampening inflammation that bring on autoimmune diseases. The study was published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Immunology in April of 2018 to confirm the hypothesis that bicarbonate of soda does have medical merit, and can be a simple cure to autoimmune diseases.

NATO Brazenly Deceived Russia

Russia has correctly been maintaining for decades that NATO’s eastward expansion violated Western promises that the Alliance would not advance “one inch” in that direction (to use Mikhail Gorbachev’s famous phrase) after the fall of the Berlin Wall on 9 November 1989. NATO and the US had claimed that such a commitment was never made in writing. This is a lie designed to enable NATO to pursue its steady advance to the borders of Russia unchallenged and ride rough-shod over the rules of International Law.

On 18 February 2022 the German magazine Der Spiegel reported the discovery of a momentous document found amongst the minutes of the 6 March 1991 meeting in Bonn (at that time the capital of the German Federal Republic) between the political directors of the Foreign Ministries of the US, UK, France, and Germany, who discussed the preconditions for German reunification. Because of Soviet objections to the possible absorption of East German (the German Democratic Republic) into NATO, an agreement was reached which allowed a reunified Germany to remain a part of NATO on the condition that NATO troops were not to be stationed in East German territory. The document, published in full by the magazine, made it absolutely clear that NATO would not expand “past the eastern borders of Germany”, including, of course, into neighbouring Poland.

Therefore, for a start, Poland should never have been allowed to join NATO, which it did on 26 February 1999, later followed by Germany’s “eastern borders” which at that time were the Oder-Neisse Line (in German: Oder-Neiße-Grenze), called after the two rivers Oder and Neisse which formed the boundary between Germany (the German Democratic Republic) and Poland from 1950 until 1990 and had been Poland’s western border since 1945. This delineation transferred a large section of German territory to Poland, including parts of Pomerania, parts of Brandenburg, and all of Silesia.

Why Daylight Saving Time Is Unhealthy? A Neurologist Explains

AS PEOPLE IN THE U.S. PREPARE TO TURN THEIR CLOCKS AHEAD ONE HOUR IN MID-MARCH, I find myself bracing for the annual ritual of media stories about the disruptions to daily routines caused by switching from standard time to daylight saving time.

About a third of Americans say they don’t look forward to these twice-yearly time changes. An overwhelming 63% to 16% majority would like to eliminate them completely. But the effects go beyond simple inconvenience. Researchers are discovering that “springing ahead” each March is connected with serious negative health effects.

I’m a professor of neurology and paediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and the director of our sleep division. In a 2020 commentary for the journal JAMA Neurology, my co-authors and I reviewed the evidence linking the annual transition to daylight saving time to increased strokes, heart attacks and teen sleep deprivation.

WE HAVE HEARD THE JEWS CRY AND WHINE ABOUT THE CRUSADES AND THE INQUISITIONS ALL OUR LIVES. This study is to present you with just a little about what actually caused the crusades, and who they were directed against.

So what is the truth about the Crusades? Scholars are still working some of that out. But much can already be said with certainty. For starters, the Crusades to the East were in every way defensive wars. They were a direct response to Muslim aggression; an attempt to turn back or defend against Muslim conquests of Christian lands.

Christians in the eleventh century were not paranoid fanatics. Muslims really were gunning for them. While Muslims can be peaceful, Islam was born in war and grew the same way. From the time of Mohammed, the means of Muslim expansion was always the sword. Muslim thought divides the world into two spheres, the Abode of Islam and the Abode of War. Christianity; and for that matter any other non‑Muslim religion, has no abode.

Christians can be tolerated within a Muslim state under Muslim rule. But, in traditional Islam, Christian and Jewish states must be destroyed and their lands conquered. When Mohammed was waging war against Mecca in the seventh century, Christianity was the dominant religion of power and wealth. As the faith of the Roman Empire, it spanned the entire Mediterranean, including the Middle East, where it was born. The Christian world, therefore, was a prime target for the earliest caliphs, and it would remain so for Muslim leaders for the next thousand years.

The United States of America Foretold In The Holy Scriptures

Rev. Pitts: In entering the sublime arcane of inspired prophecy, we are deeply impressed with a scene that is laid in the land of Midian, where, from the burning bush, the voice of Almighty God arrested the attention of the wondering prophet:

“Put off thy shoes from off thy feet: for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.”

NO SUBJECT PRESENTED TO THE HUMAN MIND IMPOSES PROFOUNDER REVERENCE, GREATER CAUTION, AND DEEPER RESEARCH, than an elucidation of prophetic truth; and yet no theme has been more prolific of fanaticism among the incautious and adventurous in almost every age.

We must look to the Scriptures themselves for direction to a true and legitimate interpretation of their own meaning. It is important also to discriminate between “secret things that belong to God, and things that are revealed, which belong to us and our children.” For want of this discernment, Millerism, and all that class of fanatical fancies, have deluded misguided thousands.

Whenever, therefore, an interpreter of prophecy attempts to tell when the day of judgment will come, just rest assured he is wise above what is written; for we are taught by the Great Prophet himself, “Of that day, and hour, knoweth no man; no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. “This Divine announcement should always quiet such unauthorized pretensions.

Our Scythian Ancestors Identified With Israel

OUR SCYTHIAN ANCESTORS is a common term which may be found in the most epitomised history of our origin: but though it takes us half way to our goal, the second half is not so easily bridged; and the problem is before us to identify these our Scythian ancestors with the lost tribes of Israel.

There is in our national status and mission more than sufficient to convince any thinking person that we are in the position assigned by God to the seed of Abraham, doing, in fact their duty, and enjoying the blessings promised to them. It seems unreasonable, and worse than unreasonable, to suppose that God, who foreknew the backsliding of Israel, would have held out promises and hopes to Abraham regarding his seed, when He had foreordained or foreknew that that seed should not attain to them; and that declining to use any longer the seed of Abraham as His main instruments, He purposed to pick up, and about the time of Moses was actually preparing, a gang of obscure wanderers, with whom He decided to continue, in this more blessed dispensation, as plan for the regeneration of the human race.

“I called him (Abraham) alone.” (Isaiah 51:2)

“Ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth; and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it; Hath God assayed to go and take Him a nation from the midst of another nation?—-Unto Thee it was showed that thou mightest know that the Lord He is God: and, because He loved thy Fathers, therefore He chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in His sight with His mighty power out of Egypt.” (Deut. 4:32)

“But YE BELIEVE NOT, BECAUSE YE ARE NOT OF MY SHEEP, as I Said Unto You. My Sheep Hear My Voice, and I Know Them, and They Follow Me.” (John 10:26-27)

Men have loved the ungodly for a long time:

“And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest Thou Help the Ungodly, and Love Them That Hate the Lord? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.” (2 Chronicles 19:2)

That the enemies of God will be destroyed is nothing new for John told us:

“Marvel not at this: for the Hour Is Coming, in the Which All That Are in the Graves Shall Hear His Voice, and Shall Come Forth; They That Have Done Good, Unto the Resurrection of Life; and They That Have Done Evil, Unto the Resurrection of Damnation.” (John 5:28-29)

The Day of Battle

BIBLICAL HISTORY SHOWS THAT OUR ISRAEL FOREFATHERS WERE COURAGEOUS AND INVINCIBLE WHEN THEY LIVED IN HARMONY WITH DIVINE LAW; but when they departed from God’s way for them, they became cowardly and fearful in the presence of their enemies. This is what is happening to our once proud American people today.

The seventy-eighth Psalm is an interesting summary of God’s dealings with His people from the time of their sojourn in Egypt to the captives of Israel and Judah. Referring to an incident which took place in their early history, the Psalmist says:

“The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.” (Psalm 78:9)

In the Scriptures the name “Ephraim” has various designations. Naturally it is used in reference to the Ephraimites as a tribe; frequently it denotes the northern kingdom of Israel; and sometimes, as it is used in Psalm 78, it apparently refers to the entire House of Jacob, which includes the kingdoms of both Israel and Judah. These people had been singularly blessed and led of God, yet at a critical moment in their history they “turned back in the day of battle.”

There must have been a cause for such unsuitable behaviour. There was, indeed, and the Psalmist states it as part of the story. They were:

“A generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not steadfast with God.—They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law; and forgot his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.” (Psalm 78:8-11)

Another time was in the days of Ahaz, the Prophet Isaiah who related:
