SCHOOLBOYS KNOW THE LETTER WRITTEN BY CARACTACUS TO CLAUDIUS CAESAR. But not everyone knows the letter, written about a century earlier, from Cassilbellaunus to Julius Caesar. This is no doubt because it does not come to us from Latin sources. It is given in full by Geoffrey of Monmouth, the twelfth-century writer who, despite his detractors, possessed three advantages: he studied under his uncle, Uchtryd, Bishop of Llandaff, in South Wales; he was himself Bishop of St. Asaph, in North Wales; he also possessed an ancient manuscript from Brittany, which he quotes widely. From any of these sources he could have obtained a copy of the letter of Cassibeliaunus which we quote:

Cassibelaun, king of the Britons, to Calus Julius Caesar. We cannot but wonder, Caesar, at the avarice of the Roman people, since their insatiable thirst after money cannot let us alone whom the dangers of the ocean have placed in a manner out of the world; but they must have the presumption to covet our substance, which we have hitherto enjoyed in quiet. Neither is this indeed sufficient; we must also prefer subjection and slavery to them, before the enjoyment of our native liberty.

Richard Brothers’ A Revealed Revelation, is said to be one of the first identity Books, although he refers to the Jews as Hebrews, but he goes on to say that there were many Hebrews in The British Isles who did not know they were Israelites.

We further have to remember that prior to the 1600’s Jews were shunned as being the murderers of Christ. In the early 1600’s it was a man by the name of Robert Maton (1607–1653?), who wrote a book titled Israel’s Redemption and Christ’s Personal Reign on Earth. This was all part of the carefully crafted plan, to associate the Edomites as being God’s chosen. Also that Christ would not return until they were back in the Holy Land of Israel.

Marton, would be followed by Richard Brothers in the 1700’s who published his book in 1797, it was only four decades later that John Henry Newman left the Church of England to join the Roman Catholic Church, because of his disgust that the British Israel teaching was about to become official Doctrine of the C of E! It was reported at that time that there were over two million Identity adherents in the UK and USA!

Obviously The Jews who Richard Brother associated with, saw him as a God send for their cause, and once he had served their purpose, he was sectioned, finishing his days in an asylum!

THE VAST BULK of organised Christendom today teach that this verse refers to the Church, the mystical Body of Christ, and yet a closer examination of the text will show that this is not the case.

Peter began his epistle with the words “to the strangers scattered throughout Asia. ”

The Greek word for stranger means a sojourner or a temporary resident. It is the same word used by Paul in Ephesians 2:19 where it is translated as foreigner. In verse nine which we are considering Peter uses the pronoun ‘ye’ which is emphatic in the Greek and therefore he is implying that the people he is addressing in his letter are distinct from those amongst whom they live. So a picture is building up not of a multi-racial Christian Church, but of a chosen generation (better translated as race) who were only temporary dwellers in their present location, strangers or foreigners living among people who were not of the same ethnic background.

UNBELIEVABLE TO ORTHODOX HISTORICAL OPINION? Yes! But so were any New Zealand dinosaurs thirty or so years ago. Now there are many books on such creatures and they have been accepted by orthodox institutions in NZ.

So what is the probability of old pre-Maori, Celtic sites?

If you have an open and inquiring mind there are many facts, artefacts and oral and written histories that confirm the existence of pre-Maori populations in NZ. Our archaeology has yet to be properly investigated by archaeologists that do not have pre-conceived or politically motivated agendas.

Very ancient written records in Europe and the old world confirm knowledge that New Zealand and Australia existed. However getting access to and acknowledgement of these records is difficult. Concocted historical opinion has been based on deliberate intent to discredit and cover up such knowledge. NZ and Australia are not the only countries bound up by such conspiracies. However this article is about a particular NZ example, with some general observations thrown in.

The following is an example of an oral history supported by records held in Scotland. A book about this particular story, with supporting documentation is due for release sometime in the year 2000. As information is slowly released and clarified the story on this page is kept updated. For now it is simply an interesting saga with all the intrigue, and bravery of any Icelandic Saga. The heroes in it eventually suffer horrific deaths though this does not prevent their genes from carrying on generation after generation in a new land. In that, perhaps it was a more successful settlement than was the Viking settlement at Brattahild in Greenland.

MODERN SCIENCE and archaeology in recent years have made tremendous progress in uncovering facts about our forgotten past. Not only has much of the Sacred Story been confirmed as fact, but many misconceptions about it have been proven untrue. A common misconception of yesteryear was the idea that although the Phoenicians traded and established colonies throughout the Mediterranean area, their Israelite neighbours never set foot on a boat or visited distant lands in ancient times. This idea persisted in spite of the fact that the word, ‘Hebrew’ itself is known to have signified “a colonist.” Modern research has in fact now documented that ancient Semitic colonization in Europe, including Hebrew, was “enduring and significant,” according to Dr. Cyrus H. Gordon, whose extensive research was highlighted throughout an entire issue of BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGIST magazine (March, 1996). Having written over 20 books and learned over a dozen languages, Dr. Gordon is widely considered the leading American archaeologist and antiquarian of the twentieth century. His research has established that “no longer can we… consider Israel the vacuum-packed miracle from Sinai. Rather must we view Greek and Hebrew civilizations as parallel structures built upon the same East Mediterranean foundation.” (“HOMER & BIBLE,” page 72).

MOSES MARGOLIOUTH was a learned and respected minister in the Church of England of the nineteenth century. As his name might indicate, he was also of Jewish extraction. Born in Suwalki, Poland in 1818, he arrived in England in 1837 and converted to the Christian faith the following year. McClintock and Strong’s Cyclopaedia adds the following:

“In 1840 he entered Trinity College, Dublin, and, after completing his studies, was ordained in 1844. He held various positions in the Episcopal Church, and at the time of his death, Feb. 25, 1881, he was vicar of Little Linford, near Newport Pagnell, Bucks, England. He is the author of many works: Fundamental Principles of Modern Judaism Investigated (London 1843); History of the Jews in Great Britain (ibid., 1846); A Pilgrimage to the Land of my Fathers (ibid. 1850, 2 vols.); History of the Jews in Great Britain (expanded 1851, 3 vols.); Abyssinia, its Past, Present, and Future (1866); The Spirit of Prophecy (1864); Sacred Minstrelsy: A Lecture on Biblical and Post-Biblical Hebrew Music (1863); The Oracles of God and their Vindication (1870); Vestiges of the Historic Anglo-Hebrews in East Anglia (eod.); The Poetry of the Hebrew Pentateuch (1871); The Lords’ Prayer No Adaptation of Existing Jewish Petitions (1876). Besides, he left a great many works in manuscript.”

PREFACE

THE FOLLOWING LECTURE WAS DELIVERED AT THE REQUEST OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE’S SOCIETY OF STANLEY STREET PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Montreal, in the Lecture Room of the Church, on Monday evening, January 14th, 1878. The room was well filled by a very respectable, intelligent, and apparently appreciative audience.

I have, in the treatment of the subject, laid under contribution the writings of E. W. Bird, late of Her Majesty’s Judicial Service in India; Bishop Titcomb of Rangoon and others and I would recommend the study of a Book entitled the “ Anglo- Israel Post Bag,” and a pamphlet entitled, “Is it reasonable,” both by Bishop Titcomb; also the Clifton Chronicle letters by “Philo- Israel,” and a publication «lied the “Banner of Israel.” In these will be found the whole theory argued in all its phases—Prophetical, Historical, Ethnological, and Philological. I am perfectly satisfied that had Professor Campbell eschewed the writings of Mr. Hine and studied the writings of those whose learning and attainments according to the Professor’s standard entitle them to some respect, he Would in them have found opponents much more worthy of his steel.

This lecture is published at the request of numerous friends of the “Identity Cause,” in the hope that it may prove of some service to those who are seeking after the truth in this connection.

THE HISTORY OF GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE ISRAEL can never be a subject of indifference to the Christian mind. The indebtedness of Christendom to this race can never be computed nor repaid. Through it came chiefly the oracles of God to man. Through it came the institutions, the jurisprudence, the philosophy which largely mould the thought of all Christian nations to-day. Yet no race was ever repaid with blacker ingratitude for the benefits which it conferred. The tale of its persecution by fire and faggot, by rack and dungeon, is one of the darkest pages in European history. Pillaged and plundered, scattered and peeled, branded and mutilated, smitten by every hand and execrated by every lip, the Jews seemed to bear in all its bitterness of woe, the terrible curse invoked by their fathers, “His blood — the blood of the Innocent One — be upon us and our children.” Trampled and beaten to the earth, decimated and slaughtered, they have yet, like the trodden grass that ranker grows, increased and multiplied in spite of their persecution. Those “Ishmaels and Hagars of mankind” exiled from the home of their fathers, and harried from land to land, have verily eaten the unleavened bread and bitter herbs of bondage, and drunken the waters of Marah. In many foreign lands they have sat beside strange streams and wept as they remembered Zion.

Two members of Orange Street Congregational Church, London, were privileged to have been invited to the German annual Christian identity conference held at Haus Sonnenblick (a Christian establishment – see photo above) in the spar town of Bad Teinach (cover page) set in the beautiful countryside of the Black Forest. This was a 5 day conference held between 27th October and 1st November 2007.

The proceedings were ably organised and presided over by Heinz Mohrlock (Top left Next Page). The first meeting of the day on Saturday evening was given over to welcoming the attendees, with every individual being personally welcomed by the chairman and everyone being given an opportunity to say where they were from. As well as the two English members from Orange Street, the BIWF were represented by Michael Clark (President) and his wife and David Aimer (Secretary). There were others from true Israel countries, such as Holland, France and Switzerland. A number of people attended as day guests and over the conference period it is estimated that some 150 people attended. Unlike here in the UK, it was good to see that all age groups were represented.

THE CHURCHES OF TODAY TELL US THAT PRESENTLY THE ISRAELITES ARE REPRESENTED BY THE JEWS. It is however true that not all Jews are of the same race. This alone should make such a claim questionable. We should also know that the word Jew is a corruption of Judean. The Judeans in turn represented only a part of the Israelite tribes, 12 (13) in all. The greater part of all tribes went into Assyrian captivity and did not return to Palestine. The remnant’s descendants in Palestine went to Babylon. When they returned they found their land populated by other races who were also called Judeans, not racially but geographically. Just as today we have black, Chinese, and white Australians.

So where are all these (Assyrian captivity) Israelites?

In other booklets, I outline this in great detail, but here I will prove, in another way, who they are today. This book will also concentrate on only one land with an Israelite population and show a point of view, hidden by the media, church leaders and governments.

The following should be considered not only by bible students, but also those with an interest in world affairs. Both parties will soon see if they persevere (and keep an open mind) that all they are about to read is linked with each other and that one side cannot be taken without the other. We will study, as well, the Afrikaner.

On 9th December 1917, Jerusalem fell to the British and in an interview with the Evening Standard, in 1920, Max Nordau, cofounder of the Zionist Movement, in 1897, held ‘we thought that the Messiah would be an individual, but I feel now as if it were a collective entity, and that its name might be the British Nation[1]’.

This one statement vindicated just under 80 years of campaigning for the British-Israel movement, not an Anglo-Jewish organisation as one might expect but a movement that believed the British were the “chosen race”, not the Jews and believed the return to Palestine of the British and Jews together would bring about the Second Coming. Despite the plethora of primary documentation, very little has been written on the role of this movement in the nineteenth century.

Throughout Anglo-Zionist literature and biographies of great Victorian statesmen there is little or no mention of this movement, which according to the Jewish Encyclopaedia (1901) had over 2 million adherents. Despite an extensive press and books, they didn’t quite make it into mainstream politics as an organisation, However, some of their members were very influential and included some of the Royal Family.

From their literal interpretation of Hebrew scripture within an predominantly Anglican umbrella, they certainly thought they knew where the country was going so perhaps that took away their incentive for power. What I have tried to do in this long essay is to assess from a snapshot of 19th century British-Israel publications how they reacted to and tried to influence the political world. How they manipulated biblical prophecy into a “we told you so” result, how British-Israel attempted to show that the writings and addresses of public men bore undersigned testimony to the contentions of their movement offering ‘blind’ evidence and how, strangely, after 80 years of campaigning they were very nearly proved right.

Altholz defines British-Israel as a variety of British nationalism buttressed by biblical references
with all the attributes of a religious movement except religion[2].

The predominate idea of the British-Israel movement was that Great Britain was the home of one or all lost tribes of Israel implying that the inhabitants were God’s Chosen People. It’s prime source of appeal, to advocates, was that it sought to affirm biblical prophecy directed specifically to the Anglo-Saxon race and a unique covenant, with God, marking out the elite nature of that race.

Against a background of British ascendancy, over the course of the nineteenth century, into the largest empire in recorded history, the concept of being a ‘chosen people’ was attractive. This was fuelled by new ideas of evolution and racial superiority imbuing British society with a duty to spread a superior culture, system and way of life to less developed societies epitomized in Rudyard Kipling’s White Man’s Burden. The Royal Geographical Society had claimed, in 1891,
that ‘On the topmost round of the ladder stands the Anglo-Saxon’ an opinion supported by
Gladstone’s assertion that ‘Our race constitutes a kind of universal church in Politics’[3].

TRANSLATING THE BIBLE INTO ENGLISH HAD AN ENORMOUS IMPACT ON ANGLO-SAXON CULTURE. Most importantly, Britons began to feel an identification with the characters of the Old Testament. This identification eventually created a movement called British-Israelism. The theology of British-Israelism and its racially-aware offshoot of Christian Identity is described by Michael Barkun in his 1997 book Religion and the Racist Right.

The concept behind British-Israelism is the belief that the British people are descended from the “10 Lost Tribes” of Israel. The 10 Lost Tribes disappeared from history after the northern part of Israel was conquered by the Assyrians. (This is described in the Old Testament’s Second Book of Kings.) As such, the British people are God’s “Chosen People” and are expected to play an important role in the final battle between good and evil within Christian eschatology.

Rev. Dunlop states in the course of his sermon on British-Israel, that:

“The British-Israel theory is a dead, God-dishonouring, anti-Scriptural fraudulent and deceptive lie from the pit of hell. It is every one of these things and more.”

He makes mention of us in relation to Mormonism and Armstrongism, and includes his message against us as part of a series on the cults. He goes as far as to say:

“Of course Mormonism and British-Israelism are blood brothers.” and at another point in his sermon he boldly declares regarding Identity-believers that: “when people use methods like this, they must also deny the Holy Scriptures.”

He couldn’t make his viewpoint much clearer.

Let me say British-Israel is no cult. We have included within our ranks such outstanding Evangelicals, and Gospel preachers, as the late Rev. Robert Bradford M.P., Principal George Jeffreys, founder of the Elim Church, and Dr. James Mountain the great Baptist Fundamentalist.

What A British-Israelite Really Believes

1) That the Old and New Testament Scriptures in their original languages are the inspired, infallible Word of God.

2). In the Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Absolute Deity Miraculous Ministry, Blood Atonement, Bodily Resurrection, Ascension and soon-coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Are these the words of heretics? Is this the doctrinal statement of a cult? British-Israel Truth is the purest form of Fundamental Bible Protestantism, and British-Israel believers will always be in the front line of the battle to defend the honour of our precious Saviour and His Holy Word.

Even our opponents have had to admit as much.

A TALENTED AUTHORESS HAS LATELY PUBLISHED A BOOKLET, in which she sets out to disprove most of the holy legends of Glastonbury and Cornwall, and in particular that of the visit of Our Lord to this land. She has entitled it “Glastonbury, Truth and Fiction.” The title alone shows the prejudiced attitude of the writer and her fellow sceptics. Since when has legend or oral tradition become identified with fiction? Or truth confined to facts attested by documents of unimpeachable reliability? The utmost that the writer has proved is that many of these holy legends have not the documentary support which she and her kind require in order that they should be classified as “truth,” or at any rate be removed from the realm of “fiction.” I wonder in which category the writer would place the following, to mention only three generally accepted traditions:

The martyrdom of most of the Apostles. The episcopacy of St. Peter at Rome. The residence of St. John at Ephesus.

If documentary proof is the only requisite of truth, and all legend is fiction, then surely these, too are fiction.

The view taken by the present writer has always been that legends often, perhaps generally, contain a germ of truth, and that the probable degree of truth can be fairly gauged by such considerations as the source of origin; the localities where the legends had vogue; the likelihood or otherwise of the influence of careless legend-mongers; and finally the result of applying to the legends the acid test of history and archaeology.

I claim that the legendary visit of Our Lord to Britain, and to Cornwall in particular, comes through all these tests remarkably unscathed, leaving all reasonable people with the conviction that it may have been, and many of us who have given years of study to the subject, the growing faith that it is probably true.

I shall presently record the various versions of the legend, mostly in the very words in which they were given me by my informants, the majority of whom are simple folk with no pretension to much “book learning.” It will be seen at once that it is almost exclusively associated in Cornwall with the tin trade, in the mining districts and the adjacent ports from which British tin was exported before and during the first century A.D. It is not usually found in parts where monastic influence was most pronounced. Even at Glastonbury the legend perpetuated and embellished by the monks of the middle ages was about Joseph of Arimathea, rather than about Our Lord, as the holy visitor.

CINDERELLA is that old, old Saxon folk tale about the poor little girl in rags and ashes who married the Prince of the realm and lived happily ever after. It has come down to us generation after generation, and it is still cherished and enjoyed.

The story of the little girl with the glass slipper has been printed in numerous books in uncounted versions of the original story. It has been made into plays, movies, cartoons, and television productions; and still the magic of Cinderella lives on. Perhaps it is the hand of God because, you know, there really is a Cinderella, there really is a Prince, there really will be a wedding, and they really will live happily ever after!

Cinderella Story — A Parable

The story of Cinderella is a magnificent, prophetic parable of the Prince of Peace and Israel. As we go along through the story, we shall attempt to explain the real-life characters that fit in this ancient, yet still unfinished, story, which has survived so long in Anglo-Saxon folklore.

According to the original story, the pretty little girl’s mother died and her
father remarried. Soon after the stepmother and her two grown daughters
moved in, the father left on a long trip. All three of the women were very hard and cruel to the little girl.

What is a “Co-incidence”? How many ‘co-incidences’ have to occur before you can cease to write them off as such, and begin to realise that each of these so-called co-incidences is adding its weight to support a particular premise? We believe that the Anglo-Celtic-Saxon Peoples, and Britain in particular, are the literal present day descendants of God’s Servant Nation Israel. We base this belief on the Word and Authority of Almighty God, given to us in the Bible. We believe that under Divine guidance our forefathers migrated— over a long period — from the Bible area of the Middle East to a place appointed for them by God in fulfilment of His Covenant with David: (H SAM.7:1 0) i.e. the British Isles and the North Sea fringe. We also believe that God has faithfully kept His solemn promise that David’s throne (which IS the Throne of the Lord*) and his royal line should ‘endure forever’ and would have a descendant of David’s line reigning on that Throne from generation to generation — holding that very Throne in trust until He comes whose right it is — Our Lord Jesus Christ, to take it for Himself and rule in glory, as promised in Luke I v32. We know that blindness in part was to come upon Israel, as part of their punishment, and that God’s servant nation was destined to be totally ignorant of their origins, their name and their real identity: and this is so— absolutely today!

Nevertheless, if we look around us, we may perceive a considerable number of instances and indications in our national and religious life, in our history, our ceremonial, our national languages and especially in everything that concerns our Royal Throne; ALL linking our indigenous British People with their Biblical Israelite origins. Some of these items are listed here at random. Separately they may appear to be mere co-incidences and of little significance — but TOGETHER their combined weight MUST be considerable, and they all point in the same direction, confirming our belief.

THERE ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE SOMETHING TO WRITE ABOUT ALTHOUGH I NEVER KNOW BEFOREHAND WHAT IT WILL BE. God always finds something and always the subject is thought provoking. The following subjects are those that really ought to have our whole nation thinking. Of course, the ‘thought-shapers’ (Media, churches, schools) have their pet subjects all worked out, so no chance (yet) of a ground swell fascination for things other than their themes. Nevertheless, God uncovers things for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Once in every several weeks I go along to a Bible study group, where, on one occasion a certain student told me of a wonderful find a friend of his came across whilst working overseas. “This friend I know called Peter heard about fair-skinned tribes living in the Hindu Cush, not far from the Tarim Basin,” he said, “Some say that the Tarim Basin was the site of the Noahic flood.” So I asked him if he could contact this friend to get me more details. While this was going on another friend phoned me and asked “Have you heard of the Urumchi Mummies?” He began telling me about an article he read in a weekend edition of one of the national papers, some radio interviews he heard and a recent book he bought about these mummies. The book outlines the mummies as looking Nordic or Celtic and that they were buried north of the Tarim Basin in western China. Some of the mummies are over 3000 years old.

The writer of the book as well as the media were guessing as to what had become of the race of people of whom these mummies belonged. Nor, it seemed, could they work out why their culture died and if descendants live today .. if so, then where are they?

IT WAS ONE OF THOSE LOVELY DAYS which are carried for all time in the memory of the traveller who has had the good fortune to see England in the early summer. London, with all its joys and sorrows, traffic and tragedy, we soon lost to sight and mind, as the fast travelling train carried me on my way to Penzance, the place made famous in comic opera under the title: “The Pirates of Penzance.”

Past fields and meadows alive and ablaze with beautiful flowers, acres and acres of such splashes of colour that they defy and beggar description, while for the last fifty miles of the journey the train passes through an avenue of rhododendrons in full bloom. This beauty has to be seen to be appreciated.

Then, with much puffing and panting, as though the iron monster were a thing alive, the train draws into the platform of Penzance, and we are at the very end of Old England. With eyes eager to see more of their wonderland, all the passengers alight from the train, agog with great anticipation.

Mount Bay, St. Michael’s Mont, Mousehole, Lands End, and much more than space allows to tell, all these with the old township of Penzance itself, were the attractions I had come to see.

THE “OLD ORDER” IS GONE; and the old social standards, economic practices, governmental set-ups and religious systems, which have endured for so many centuries, are breaking down before our very eyes.

The issue confronting the world today is not one of saving the “Old Order,” but rather of determining what the “New Order” shall be.

World leaders everywhere are zealously striving to make the world over, and all of them are either totally ignorant of, or else completely ignore, the only program which can save mankind from a return to the “Dark Ages,” namely, “THE ORDER OF THE LORD.”

The complete plans and specifications for this “New Order” are found in the Holy Scriptures; and with world leaders and statesmen bankrupt of ideas, except a return to the old Assyrian system of dictatorship and regimentation, it is high time that we turn to the “sure word of prophecy” for light and guidance.

In the Sacred Record, the prophets have left a pre-written history of the tragic failure of man’s attempt to establish peace and security under the jungle law of “Self-preservation as the first law of nature,” and every detail of their prophecies has been fulfilled to the present time.  In fact, more than 90% of these prophecies have been literally fulfilled and it is only reasonable to expect that the remaining 10% will be equally dependable.

We have now come to the “end of the age,” when the “kingdoms of this world” are to be weighed in the balance, and since all of them, without exception, have failed to bring peace and security to the earth, they will all be “found wanting” and be rejected.

In their place will be established the new “Order of the Lord,” in which every man “shall sit under his own wine and fig tree, none making him afraid,” and in which peace, security, justice and freedom shall be the inalienable heritage of every man.

In the hope that many may be led to “search the Scriptures” to learn of the Lord’s Plan of the Ages, which is the only hope for a sin-sick, war-torn world, we are devoting this entire number of the Interpreter to a brief summary of “The Story the Bible Tells.”

THIS BOOK IS A MUST FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE LEARNT THE BRITISH ISRAELITE STANCE AS TO THE ISRAELITE, ask, namely., what part has the German folk?

This book is all the more mark-worthy for those who’s outlook is shaped by the Armstrong’s World Wide Church of God. Some may be shocked whilst others may be thrilled to learn of God’s plan for the Germans in his time spell (history).

This book was first printed in German for a German readership and is thus written in the setting of, “we” “us” or “our” German culture, time spell and so forth…

Although his forebears were Christians, his parents were typical of the between war generation for whom Christianity made way for socialism. Brought up as a socialist, evolutionist and humanist, Adam never even saw a Bible until his late twenties.

AT A TIME WHEN MANY THOUSANDS OF GOD’S PEOPLE are beginning to realize we are in danger of going into captivity under aliens, it is well that someone injects into their thinking a reason why we might be in such danger. Yes I know, many are saying the danger of conquest faces us because we’ve coddled our enemies, both outside the nation and inside. Or that our enemies are too wicked and cunning, they overcome us through the sheer weight of their lies and deception. And their solution, usually, is a form of Paul Revereism — wake up the people, and tell them what is happening; the people will rise up and save America.

Of course, many others who realize this, will admit that America is in danger of being conquered. But it is not only no fault of mine, it is of no concern of mine. Before America is conquered or destroyed, I will be gone in the Rapture. And after all, America is wicked, and deserves destruction anyway. The people who are left, after I leave in the Rapture, will get only what they have deserved, because they didn’t believe in my Christ so they could escape with me in the Rapture.

In both cases, the one who knows the conquest may come, and thinks we can put it off only by our own overt action against the enemy, and the one who cares not that it may come because he’ll be gone; in most cases, credit the One Worlders with the power to bring about the defeat of America. In the first case, they give God little or no credit for what is happening. In the second case, they give God no credit for the possible future conquest, only for having prepared an escape hatch for a handful of people. All other events seem to them to be controlled by someone or something other than God.

AS YOU KNOW the Christian Israel Identity doctrine underlies everything we teach and do and write. Similar, but not to be confused with “British-Israelism,” the Christian Israel Doctrine holds that the people generally known as the Caucasian people are the true and literal descendants of the Israel people of the Bible.

This knowledge unfolds many wondrous new insights into the Scriptures. At the same time, if we are Israel, then who are these people today called “Jews?” Well, judge them by their fruits, brother and sister Christians! This comes to the meat of our study today, as related, in part by Pastor James Bruggeman of Stone Kingdom Ministries.

Nearly 20 years ago a book, which was written by a noted Jewish author, should have shocked “Judeo-Christianity” to its very foundation. It didn’t! Promoted by Random House, which is a major (Jewish-owned) publishing firm, “The Thirteenth Tribe,”  by Arthur Koestler revealed that most modern “Jews” ARE NOT ISRAELITES! Under the heading of “A brief History of the Terms for Jew” in the 1980 Jewish Almanac is the following:

“Strictly speaking it is incorrect to call an Ancient Israelite A ‘Jew’ or to call a Contemporary Jew an Israelite or a Hebrew.”

In fact, according to Koestler, they are not even Semites (descendants of Noah’s son, Shem); instead they descend from Japheth and are identified with Ashkenaz, Togarmah, Magog, and the Huns. The ramifications which this revelation and admission should have had upon “Judeo-Christian” theology are momentous to contemplate.

RECENTLY THERE CAME INTO OUR POSSESSION A BOOKLET WIDELY CIRCULATED IN NORTHERN IRELAND, written by Mr. W. ). McCormick, M.R.C.V.S., supposedly to expose the teachings of Herbert Armstrong and the Worldwide Church of God. Normally such a publication would not have aroused our interest, Mr. Armstrong being quite capable of defending his own sect and their beliefs, however Mr. McCormick has seen fit to devote some nine pages of his book to an attack on the Gospel of the Kingdom, or as he is pleased to term it, British Israelism, specifically naming one group, its magazine and its foremost speaker. Many baseless, inaccurate and unscriptural statements are made as Mr. McCormick turns vainly in one direction after another, seeking to disprove that the descendants of the Lost Tribes of Israel are found to day in the nations of Celto-Anglo-Saxondom.

Such an attack comes as no surprise to us, since all down the centuries those who have dared to break with the vain traditions and dogmas of men and to stand for the Truth which God Almighty has, by the Holy Spirit, been pleased to progressively reveal, have all suffered scorn, ridicule, and where circumstances permitted, outright persecution. Martin Luther, the Wesleys, General Booth and George Jeffreys all endured the same opposition and misrepresentation as we do today in our stand for the Israel Identity Truth. After prayerful consideration we have therefore decided to take up the pen in defence of the Identity Message, because we are convinced that to allow such an attack to go unanswered would be dishonouring to God and His Word in which are exhorted to:-

“contend earnestly for the faith” and to:-

“be ready always to give an answer to any man concerning the hope that is within us”

THE IDEA held by some that Christianity was first brought to Britain by the Roman Catholic Missionary, St Augustine in A.D. 597 is altogether erroneous as is proved by the following evidence. The fact is that the year A. D. 597 was the date of the introduction, not of Christianity, but of Roman Catholicism into Britain, Christianity itself having been brought into the British Isles just after the Crucifixion of Christ, more than five hundred years earlier. There is very strong evidence that Joseph of Arimathea with twelve other disciples of Christ, erected in England the first Christian church above ground in the world between A.D. 36 and A.D. 39. In doing so they would have obeyed the Lord’s instructions (Acts 1:8) to take the Gospel to “the uttermost part of the earth” or Ultima Thule, as the Britannic Isles were known in those days. It is my prayer that the contents of this short work may stimulate an interest in our British heritage and our national identity as revealed in the Bible.

THE AUTHOR designed at first but a short Prefatory Tract on Israel Discovered, &c., to be prefixed to his poem, The Resurrection of Israel, printed some twenty years ago. He advertised this accord­ingly; but, in making the attempt, he found a mere Tract on such a subject an impossibility. However some may be disposed to treat our in­quiry, it has been, the Author knows, a subject of years of study and prayer with men who have the knowledge of the truth, as our Reformers and Martyrs held it, combined with judgment, and “the spirit of love and of a sound mind.”

1992 marked the 500th Anniversary of Columbus’ voyage of discovery from Spain to what was then known as the New World in 1492. No doubt there will be those who will exploit the celebration of this event to emphasize the Hispanic as opposed to the Anglo-Saxon element in American Culture and society. However it is becoming an increasingly well known and documented fact, that not only were there North Europeans on the American continent long before the voyage of Columbus, but also that Phoenicians/Israelites sailed from the Middle East through the Mediterranean and across the Atlantic to these shores centuries before the birth of Christ.

I became aware of these exciting facts of suppressed history during my first visit to the United States in 1984. While attending the AMERICA’S PROMISE MINISTRIES camp in New Mexico that year I was able to visit the site at Los Lunas, near Albuquerque, and see the rock with the Ten Commandments carved in the ancient script.

My curiosity being aroused I went on to study the books Saga America and America B.C. by Professor Barry Fell of Harvard University, also Cyrus Gordon’s Before Columbus and They All Discovered America by Charles Boreland; from these books and various other research items the following facts emerge:

Anyone, with the slightest knowledge of the Word of God, the Bible, knows that the nation of Israel plays a central role in the Lord’s plan with mankind. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to know who the true Israel of God is today, and if there are impostors who claim to be Israel, but are not. (Revelation 2:9 and 3:9)

Most people today, Christians as well as non‑Christians, view the “Jewish” nation in and outside of Palestine as the descendants of the Biblical Israelites. But merely the words of Jesus: “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” (Matthew 7:20) should cause every Christian to have his doubts concerning this idea. Furthermore, most Christian churches today talk about a “spiritual Israel” embracing believers of all races, nations and cultures. This un‑Biblical theory will be shot down by the revelation that the Israel of God is neither the “Jews” nor the church, yet it is still very much alive today.

To say the least, it would have tremendous impact if it were the modern Nordic-Germanic nations whom Jesus had in mind when He turned down the Canaanite woman with the words: “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew 15:24)

These words are written out of the deepest conviction of my heart, even though they will not please the god of this world, and are by no means politically correct. I only want to make known the message of the Lord Jesus Christ to the Danes living in the 21st century: The Israel Vision!

CHRISTIANITY ARRIVED IN KHUMRY-WALES IN AD 37, in “the last year of Tiberius”. This is attested by the official historians of the Church of Rome, Cardinal Baronius, the Vatican Librarian, writing around AD 1530, and Cardinal Alford (Griffiths) – as well as by the British monks Gildas (Aneurin y Coed Aur), who lived AD 540-600, and Nennius, who wrote circa AD 800.

Later writers had to be very careful as Christianity officially arrived in Eastern England in AD 597, with Austin-Augustine of Canterbury, who converted the immigrant Saxons and Angles. Yet Austin met with seven British bishops in AD 600 at Aust in the west of Britain, on the Severn estuary. Pelagius, a British monk, had denied the doctrine of original sin as developed by Augustine of Hippo, arguing instead for free will. This was in the early AD 400’s. Before that, three named British bishops had attended the Council of Sardonica in AD 347 and three more the Council of Arles in AD 314. The Roman Empress Helena was, we believe, a Christian and a British Princess [see More 2]. Earlier still, King Lierwg (known to the Romans as Lucius or Luke) had corresponded with Eleutherius, Bishop of Rome, around AD 178-180, as Christian to Christian. All this is in the official Church records. There is also a record of there being archbishops in London from the second century AD [see More 1]. So Austin did not bring Christianity to Britain, though he did bring Roman Catholicism.

Christ will sit on DAVID’S THRONE.…

Is the BRITISH THRONE, as some claim, the “Throne of David”?
Why does God call that Throne the “Throne of the LORD”?
How did it get from Jerusalem to London, England?

IS THERE BIBLICAL AND HISTORICAL EVIDENCE SHOWING THAT, IN THE 6TH CENTURY BC, the throne of David was transferred from the land of Israel to the British Isles? If so, how did that come about? Tracing back the history of the British Throne—from England to Scotland, then to Ireland, and back still further to the ancient KINGDOM OF JUDAH, is a most fascinating task!

But it is impossible to comprehend the true DIVINE ORIGIN of the British Throne without first grasping certain biblical prophecies which, over 3500 years ago, accurately foretold first the rise, then the PERPETUITY of that ancient Davidic Dynasty!

A Gripping Ancient Prophecy!

In approximately 1661 BC, the clan of Israel (or Jacob) journeyed to Egypt, where they remained for about 215 years (cf. Gen. 15:13-15; Exod. 12:1-42; Gal. 3:17). Just before his death, circa 1634 BC, the elderly Patriarch Jacob, under divine inspiration, blessed his twelve sons. To his son Judah, he said, “JUDAH is a lion’s whelp…. And as a lion, who shall rouse him? The Sceptre shall not depart from JUDAH nor a lawgiver [‘ruler’s staff] from between his feet, until SHILOH comes” (Gen. 49:10). That intriguing prophetic statement raises two important questions:

THE following Lectures are intended to prove, that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who is verily a God of truth, is fulfilling His word with regard to the multitudinous seed,—the many nations to come of the house of Ephraim; and that as truly as He has accomplished His purpose, in giving the One Seed, Christ, to come of the house of Judah. These nations have, from the begin­ning, been in a state of training for their high and important destiny, that of sheering forth the praise of Jehovah, who is the God of Nature and of Provi­dence, as well as of Redemption, and whose wondrous wisdom is manifest in all.

The author holds, with many modern students of prophecy, that the prophecies must he literally fulfilled; and that Judah must mean Judah, and Israel mean, literally, Israel. At the same timer he agrees with those who apply, to these Christian nations, many of the prophecies respecting Israel: believing, as he does, that these nations have not merely come into the place of ancient Israel, but are truly the seed of Abraham according to the flesh—are of the so-called “lost house” of Israel—the leading tribe of which was Ephraim.

These nations have been brought forth at the time, and is the place predicted: they are the modern nations of Europe,—and especially those of Saxon race, whose glorious privilege it now is, to preach the gospel for a witness unto all nations ere the end come. how the promised aced have come to be sown in these countries, is accounted for in the latter part of the course; but the author earnestly requests a careful perusal of the first six. Lectures, as it is upon the Scriptural foundation there laid, that his after conclusions chiefly rest.

These he has supported by proof, as various in kind, and great in quantity, as, he trusts, will be requisite to substantiate the truth of the view he has been led to entertain. The plan of the Lecturer has been to look on the subject in all points of view: but especially in the light of God’s word. In that light would ever rejoice to look upon all around him, upon the world and its inhabitant, man; And the wondrous course of God’s providence, which all hath had respect to His people of Israel,–of whom He hath said in truth, “I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.” Even after they were seemingly cast away, the God of ,Abraham still declared, by his prophet Jeremiah,—
“I am a Father to Israel,

A MOVEMENT, originally introduced by Mr. John Wilson, has been furthered by Mr. Edward Hine, Mr. William Carpenter,and other well-known authors. It has for its object the proof of the identification of the Lost Tribes of Israel with the British nation.

The author’s attention was first drawn to the sub­ject through the perusal of Mr. Edward Hine’s pamphlet entitled “Twenty-seven Identifications! He immediately took up the question, with an earnest desire to find the truth, and to investigate, to the best of his ability, the statements which were sub­mitted in support of the theory. The result is this little work, and although it will probably seem crude to some and inconclusive to others, yet the author trusts that it may at least furnish a few stepping‑stones for investigators with firmer and younger feet than his. Influenced as he is by a powerful interest in the question, and by a firm conviction of the iden­tity of the Israelitish and British nations, he felt that it was his duty to make known to his fellow Israelites, however imperfectly he may fulfil his purpose, all he knows of so manifestly important a subject.

The author, in commencing his researches, con­sidered it advisable to select one family, and to endeavour to trace it to its source. Nothing was more natural than to choose the noblest family in the land, and having, as he believes, been successful in tracing the royal line to Judah, he dedicates his work to the Heiress of Judah’s Sceptre.

I HAVE CONCEIVED IT MIGHT BE WELL TO INFORM THE READER of this little volume of the manner in which I was first led to the investigation of the subject treated of in this work.

In the fall of 1882 I was preparing a lecture on the Great Pyramid of Geezeh, in Egypt.; and in doing so, I was perusing that great work, Our Inheritance, by Prof. P. Smyth, Astronomer Royal to Scotland. Marking such things as seemed adapted to my lecture, I saw, occasionally, things that I did not need, which I passed over without any particular examination. At one time I saw the term “Anglo-Saxon,” but as I had no use for that, I passed on without any examination whatever.

At length, having gone through with the perusal of that great work, and having arranged my notes somewhat, the thought occurred to me ––What, what did I see about Anglo-Saxons? I could not tell, nor where to find it. I therefore began turning back, scanning every page, if possibly I might find it. At length after a long search I found the place, and read’ “The Anglo-Saxon bring the identical descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel”! So and so. What! what’. I said, what under the sun does the man mean? Is he crazy? or am I dreaming? Again and again I read the sentence, but to no benefit; I could make nothing of it. At length, having arranged the materials for my lecture to. my liking, I wrote to Prof. P. Smyth, saying:

MANY REASONS AND MOTIVES have prompted men to assume other names. Circumstances have arisen which, for the sake of protection, have called for an alias. The hiding of a man’s identity beneath an assumed name has enabled him to pass unnoticed where recognition would have involved peril. One of the most difficult tasks of police authorities is to strip a suspected person of any aliases under which he or she may have been living in order to disclose the individual’s true identity. Men have mysteriously disappeared from their frequented environments by the simple device of changing their names. Memory is short and a person is soon forgotten, although he may be still living in very close proximity to his former surroundings. Thus, the use of an alias is an extremely effective means of obscuring identity.

A Whole Race Disappears

Only once in human history, with its multitudinous vagaries, has it been recorded that a whole race completely disappeared from sight, seeming to leave no trace behind it. So completely was its identity obliterated that, although still in existence and better known to the whole world than any of its contemporaries, the nations comprising it having a foremost place in history and envied by those striving for world dominion, it still passes unrecognised by the world generally as to its true identity.

A commonwealth of nations and a great nation living under an alias! Truth is often stranger than fiction and it would need the pen of a genius and the imagination of some great writer to vividly depict and weave into story form this hiding of nations and the obscuring of their identity while they unobtrusively play the great­est role that has even been the lot of any race in the unfolding drama of human relationships.

Right at the outset it is vital that you understand this vital truth: There have always been two Americas. There were always two Israels in the Old Testament. There was the Israel of YHWH, that is both the envisioned Israel and the godly remnant within the nation. Then there was the other Israel, the Israel of Baal and Ashtoreth. This was the Israel that God exiled, both in the Assyrian captivity of the Northern House, then in the subsequent Babylonian captivity of the Southern Kingdom of Judah.

America has had a similar history. From its inception as a haven for those of the Puritan faith, to its Declaration of Independence in the late 18th century, there were always two streams of thinking, philosophy and faith in American life. This dualism was Israel’s curse and has been America’s.

America is frequently mentioned in both Christian and secular circles as a shining example of liberty and freedom. Of that, there is no doubt. The problem is: What kind of liberty and freedom from what? Liberty and freedom are not terms that can be universally applied to all people unless there is a context. For example, to a devout Muslim who believes that society should be under Sharia law, Western notions of democracy and the judicial system are not liberating; they are bondage. To a Christian reconstructionist, who believes in a Biblical model of government, economy and law, the present consistency of Western democratic governments is equally as repulsive as it is to the radical Muslim. And equally as oppressive. Although it is an extreme example, here is one that serves the point well: To a paedophile, laws that prohibit paedophilia are oppressive and curtail the freedom to molest.

YOU HEAR SO MANY STRANGE THINGS ABOUT BRITISH ISRAELITES. Who are they? where did this Anglo-Israel teaching have its origins? Are they a crazy racist cult, a new American sect? Opponents of Anglo-Israel, having little or no Scriptural evidence to refute our teachings, prefer to frighten sincere seekers for truth by seeking to smear British-Israel with the biggest tar brush possible. A favourite method seems to be that of claiming that the Anglo-Israel teaching originated with the writings of the deranged Richard Brothers, who was for a time confined to a lunatic asylum in the late eighteenth/early nineteenth century. Now I feel sure that you the reader would prefer the truth, and so we will trace the origins of our message and tell you of the many distinguished clergymen, evangelists and preachers of many diverse Protestant denominations who have held to our beliefs, as well as many members of our own British Royal Family.

Let us be clear about one thing, there was a knowledge of and writings about the Israel Identity of the Celto-Anglo Saxon and related peoples long before poor Richard Brothers ever stumbled upon this truth.

1) As long ago as the 6th Century A.D. an early British Historian Gildas named “the Wise” wrote at the era when the pagan Saxon’s were invading Christian Celtic Britain. He wrote that these events were taking place to the end that our Lord might in this land try after His accustomed manner these His Israelites whether they loved Him or not:

2) In 1314 A.D. the nobility of Scotland signed the Scottish Declaration of Independence at Arbroath Abbey. In it they stated their belief in the Israel identity of their people:-

OUR SCYTHIAN ANCESTORS is a common term which may be found in the most epitomised history of our origin: but though it takes us half way to our goal, the second half is not so easily bridged; and the problem is before us to identify these our Scythian ancestors with the lost tribes of Israel.

There is in our national status and mission more than sufficient to convince any thinking person that we are in the position assigned by God to the seed of Abraham, doing, in fact their duty, and enjoying the blessings promised to them. It seems unreasonable, and worse than unreasonable, to suppose that God, who foreknew the backsliding of Israel, would have held out promises and hopes to Abraham regarding his seed, when He had foreordained or foreknew that that seed should not attain to them; and that declining to use any longer the seed of Abraham as His main instruments, He purposed to pick up, and about the time of Moses was actually preparing, a gang of obscure wanderers, with whom He decided to continue, in this more blessed dispensation, as plan for the regeneration of the human race.

“I called him (Abraham) alone.” (Isaiah 51:2)

“Ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth; and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it; Hath God assayed to go and take Him a nation from the midst of another nation?—-Unto Thee it was showed that thou mightest know that the Lord He is God: and, because He loved thy Fathers, therefore He chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in His sight with His mighty power out of Egypt.” (Deut. 4:32)

THE SUBSTANCE of the following pages was given as a lecture at The College, Harrow Weald Park. In issuing the lecture in printed form as a Hand-book I have thought it advisable to give in full the speeches of Caradoc, Boadicea and Galgacus. This was not possible in a single lecture; but it is only by reading these noble utterances in full that we can visualize the circumstances and appreciate the lofty sentiments expressed therein.

Further, as some readers may not have at hand the works of Tacitus from which the extracts are taken, it seemed best to give what I have given here.
While this little book does nothing more than bring together in compact form information with which most students of History are familiar, it may
be that to some the information will come as new and useful.

If this book should prove to be of service to those who are seeking to spread the truth, it will serve the purpose intended. It is only as our message is based upon established facts that we can hope to succeed in enlightening those “who sit in darkness.”

I have not thought it necessary to labour the distinction between British and English. It’s enough to show that this land was blessed with culture long before the coming of the English and with Christianity long before the arrival of Augustine.

WE BEGIN WITH TWO QUITE WELL KNOWN VERSES FROM THE BOOK OF AMOS TO SET THE SCENE. IN CHAPTER 9:8,9 WE READ:-

“Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.”

This subject is unusual in our circles regarding the kingdom message. I have entitled this message “The Remnant of Judah revealed in Germany”. I did a study a few weeks ago on the union of the two crowns, explaining how James VI of Scotland became James I of England. That, coupled with my recent visit to Hanover, raised the subject that has always been of interest to me.

However, it is a controversial subject in Kingdom circles. It is the question of a remnant of Judah being found in Germany.

Remember what the Scripture says. God said He would sift the House of Israel as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet He would not let those grains be lost. We know that the bulk of the grain was gathered into the appointed place, but we know that, as the exiled Israelites migrated across Europe, grains were left here and there and we should not be blind to that.

“Well, let me try to explain. We have rights guaranteed by the Constitution. They were guaranteed to our grandfathers and to their descendants forever. If someone took away our rights, we might get them back some day if the old rulers return to power.”
“That’s the way it was in Scotland and England. Rights and possessions were given to our ancestors and their descendants forever. We are the descendants. Our ancestor lost his possessions when a new king came to power. If a descendant of the old king comes back into power we might get our possessions back again.”
“Grandma, I don’t understand.”
“That’s all right, son. One day you will.”

Enfiefment

THOSE WORDS WERE SPOKEN LONG AGO. Now, I’m pushing seventy, and for the first time I’m beginning to understand “enfiefment.”

WHEN THE AGED JACOB FORETOLD THE FATE OF HIS TWELVE SONS, he declared, ‘Simeon and Levi are brothers; weapons of violence are their swords. O my soul, come not into their council; O my spirit, be not joined to their company; for in their anger they slay men, and in their wantonness they hamstring oxen. Cursed be their anger, for it is fierce; and their wrath for it is cruel!

I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel[1]. Probably Simeon and Levi were thus cursed on account of their cruel treatment of the men of Shechem who had defiled their young sister Dinah: ‘Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males[2].

Many years later the tribe of Levi redeemed itself on the occasion when Moses, returning from Mount Sinai with the tables of the law, found the Israelites worshipping the golden calf. ‘Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves unto him[3].

The Levites were then honoured by being made the priestly tribe, and the Lord said, ‘Command the children of Israel that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in[4].

IN AN IMPORTANT PASSAGE OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY, Isaiah 49:12 says, “Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.” Where is Sinim, and who are the objects of the prophecy?

The Bridgeway Bible Commentary designates the passage in Isaiah 49:8 to 50:3 as, “Israel rebuilt.” We are told, “Once more God promises the return of the captive Hebrews to their homeland.” Our specific key verse in this prophecy therefore relates to exiled Israel, leading some expositors to think that the mysterious name Sinim reveals the location of the lost ten tribes.

Famous 19th century evangelical commentator John Trapp agrees and thinks that lost Israel is to be found in China: “Botterus (cf. Arias Mont., Osorius, A. Lapide) saith that there are reckoned seventy millions of men, which are more than are to be found in all Europe; and who knows but many of those of the ten tribes of Israel are there?”

Others look to China for the missing Israelites as well. The Scofield Bible says, “Sinim: The word is supposed to refer to a people of the Far East, perhaps the Chinese.” The Preachers Commentary concurs: “Sinim (a name often given to China, which represented the end of the earth).”

Barnes Notes suggests we may find lost Israel in China on philosophic grounds: “It may be added, that this is the only place where that country is referred to in the Bible, and there may be some plausibility in the supposition that while so many other nations, far inferior in numbers and importance, are mentioned by name, one so vast as this would not wholly be omitted by the Spirit of Inspiration.” If this is an appropriate determinant to identify China, why not America? Barnes does not similarly feel it peculiar that evangelicals believe the USA is wholly omitted in Scripture!

IN 1914, THE THIRTY-FOURTH YEAR OF ITS PUBLICATION, The Anglo-Israel Almanac listed details of a large number of Identity Groups operating independently throughout the Britannic Isles and overseas in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Canada and America. Out of these in 1919, was founded the British-Israel-World Federation.

Supported by many prominent people over the past seventy years this Movement has been giving sound instruction on prophecy and related matters to the promotion of Christianity among the Covenant Peoples, so protecting it from individuals and subversive organisations trying to put an end to Christian activity.

“The Banner of Israel” first published in 1877 by Robert Banks of Fleet Street continued until its incorporation in “The National Message” in 1926. “The National Message” was first published in 1922 and continued until 1981. These publications were available to members of the public. The Federation now produces “BIWF Quarterly” magazine for its members, as well as other literature.

The Federation has had many ups and downs during its existence, but most important, it has survived and is expanding again. The world wide decline in Christianity over the past thirty years is grievous, so the present is a vital time in our history, and with renewed support we can be influential in its revival.

THE RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD AT THE RISE OF. CHRISTIANITY-THEIR ANTAGONISMS AND COMMON GROUND WITH THE NEW FAITH-GREECE AND ITS PHILOSOPHIES-THE JEWS-THE INFLUENCE OF THE MESSIANIC IDEA-THE EASTERN RELIGIONS-ROME.

THE MORAL SOILS OF THE VARIOUS COUNTRIES on which the first seed of Christianity fell differed materially in their state of preparation for its reception. The Gentile soil was more favourable than that of the Jew. The reason is obvious. Christianity is the divine idea of one mind, Jesus Christ. It existed in the Old Testament only as the ore in the mine. No Jewish interpreter of the ancient Scriptures deci­phered them in the same sense as Jesus of Nazareth. His explication and application were declared sub­versive of Moses and the Prophets, and rejected with intense bitterness. The Law of Moses not only failed to bring the Hebrew race to Christ, but rabbis and laity took their stand upon it as the eternal covenant, the whole language and spirit of which disproved the exposition of the Nazarene. It is also obvious that if the Christian solution of the Mosaic revelation be unsound, such revelation is incapable of any consistent solution whatever. But this fact, now witnessed by history and chronology, was yet to be ascertained in the Messianic century.
Deeper proof of the sincerity of their faith in their own Messianic idea the Jews could not give than by rising upon it against the weight of the whole Gentile empire of Rome. As a nation they were destroyed, but the false idea which destroyed them remains indestructible. It still moulds the mind of the Dispersion. Practically, therefore, the Mosaic Law cannot be regarded as a successful preparation for the Gospel. Our Saviour’s first ministerial act, in His Sermon on the Mount, was to repeal its most striking enactments, and to abolish its spirit of exclusiveness and sanguinary retaliation. Nothing in the Mosaic covenant not expressly re-imposed in the New Testament binds the Christian. The almost total rejection of His religion by the Jews, and its acceptance by the Gentiles, was repeatedly pre­-signified by our Lord, especially in the remarkable parable of the lord of the vineyard and the husbandmen.

THERE ARE CURRENTLY TWO OPINIONS IN CIRCULATION ABOUT THE NAME OF ZEDEKIAH’S DAUGHTER, through whom the Royal Descent from David was transferred from Palestine to Britain: was she Tea‑Tephi or Scota? The Federation’s Committee on Teaching has been looking into this question with a view to clarification and the correction of any erroneous ideas that have been published in the past.

Ever since the publication in 1840 of John Wilson’s book Our Israelitish Origin, it has been realised that the Royal House of Britain must have been descended from the Biblical House of David to whom God made promises of an enduring dynasty. Since our own royal house can, without difficulty, trace its ancestry back to the ancient kings of Ireland, it was necessary to find a connecting link with Zedekiah, the last king of Judah. The Bible tells us that all his sons were slain, but that the king’s daughters were taken to Egypt with Jeremiah, after which no more was heard of them (Jer. 43:5‑7).

THE MESSAGE OF THE BIBLE, as taught by most of today’s churches, is not Christianity at all; but a nameless, faceless, irreligious, Satanic philosophy. It is a liberal, one-world, one-race, Godless, sexless, homogenized hodgepodge of propaganda disseminated by the Anti-Christ and their millions of Christian lackeys who have had their brains dirtied and contaminated by the constant stream of vicious, soul destroying lies, half-truths and innuendoes fed to the public, twenty-four hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five days a year. The only unforgivable sin in the eyes of these liberals is discrimination, when actually, the inability to discriminate is a sure sign of feeble mindedness.

Has the lack of sound answers to the following questions turned you away from the Bible?

1. Was Adam and Eve the first man and woman?

2. Was it a serpent that beguiled Eve?

3. Was Eve’s transgression physical or moral?

4. Why, after killing Abel, did Cain say to God “You are casting me off the face of the earth,” when God merely sent him out of Eden into the land of Nod?

5. Why did Cain say “Everywhere I go, men shall seek to slay me”? What men?

6. If Adam, Eve and Cain were the only three left, where did Cain find a wife?

7. Why would Cain build a city for just himself and his wife?

8. Did all races come from Adam and Eve?

IN THE 8TH CENTURY, B.C., THE ASSYRIAN EMPIRE WAS AT ITS PEAK, and its armies threatened the nations on the eastern Mediterranean seaboard, including Israel. The Assyrians were a brutal, fearsome people, the most terrible, perhaps, in all the earth’s history. Conquered lands were literally plundered of everything of value – even people, who were taken to slavery in foreign lands. The wall murals of the Assyrians, some of which now bedeck the British Museum in London, depict scenes of horrible savagery and torture. Men were sometimes skinned alive, or impaled on poles to slowly die outside the gates of a city.

Earned archaeologist, Sir Austen Henry Layard, rediscovered and unearthed the ancient Assyrian cities, and graphically described the scenes on the wall murals he found: “Captives… were stretched naked at full length on the ground, and whilst their limbs were held apart by pegs and cords they were being flayed alive. Beneath them were other unfortunate victims undergoing abominable punishments. The brains of one were apparently being beaten out with an iron mace, whilst an officer held him by the beard. A torturer was wrenching the tongue out of the mouth of a second wretch who had been pinioned to the ground. The bleeding heads of the slain were tied round the necks of the living who seemed reserved for still more barbarous tortures.” (“Discoveries In The Ruins Of Assyria And Babylon,” p. 456)

This analysis of the legends connected with the Coronation Stone was read by the author, as Senior Vice-President of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, at a Meeting of the Society held on the 8th of March last.

IN ST. EDWARD’S CHAPEL AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY IN LONDON, sits an ancient, nondescript wooden chair. Covered with graffiti and worn with age, this chair surrounds and encloses an even more ancient block of sandstone known as the “LIA FAIL” or Coronation Stone of the Scots. For more than a thousand years the kings and queens of England and Scotland have been crowned over this stone and, as the history of IRELAND reveals, the Milesian kings before them.

British-Israel proponents, and the Worldwide Church of God under Herbert W. Armstrong, claimed that this stone was brought to Ireland by Jeremiah the Prophet after the fall of Jerusalem to the Babylonians. In the Church booklet entitled “The United States and Britain in Prophecy” — which enjoyed a circulation reaching into the millions — the following statement is made: “Besides the royal family, Jeremiah brought with them some remarkable things, including a harp, an ark, and a WONDERFUL STONE CALLED ‘LIA FAIL,’ or ‘STONE OF DESTINY.’—many kings in the history of Ireland, Scotland, and England have been coronated sitting over this stone — including the present Queen. The stone rests today in Westminster Abbey in London, and the coronation chair is built over and around it. A sign beside it labels it ‘JACOB’S PILLAR-STONE’ (Genesis 28:18). (P.100).

THIS IS NOT MERELY A “BOOK”, it is a story with a Biblical background which can shake the world. The simple story told in “The Faith of Our Fathers” is one that should be read by every family in America and in Western Europe. Clergymen, Attorneys at Law, Public Officials as well as young students, will obtain a better understanding of their government and the Constitution of the United States of America.

In these days of tribulation, with enemies of God all about, one is reminded of the words of Napoleon Bonaparte when he said, “Ninety five percent of winning a war is to know your enemy”. The story of this book advances Napoleon’s advice by saying, “How can you know your enemy unless you know who YOU are?”

A clergyman once said, “love your enemies”. In a discussion with other clergymen that followed, he was asked where he derived his philosophy and he replied, “The Bible, of course”. The clergyman asking him questions then said, “I will agree with the Bible, now please tell me where the Bible says to love God’s enemies?” With this question, the first clergyman was stumped. He had no answer! In another instance, a clergyman was broadcasting a radio sermon. He was preaching that Christians should love everything (even Satan)

Upon reaching the “race” question he said, “All of the different races of people on earth are the same”. Later that day another clergyman telephoned the radio preacher and expressed interest in the sermon. He had a question. He asked about the statement that “all of the different races are the same”.

His question was “If the races are the ‘same’, then why did you say that they are ‘different’?” With this, the clergyman who gave the sermon promptly placed his telephone receiver on the hook. He had no answer!

Those who read “The Faith of Our Fathers” will no doubt be stimulated to further research and study. It is hoped and we pray that their findings will assist in the accomplishments that God’s Word has prophesied. They will have “ANSWERS”! Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

Most Jews and Christians know the basic story of the Hebrew Exodus from Egypt, in which Moses took his people on a march through the Red Sea to freedom in the Promised Land. But there is another exciting and little known part of the story, telling of the Hebrew Tribe of Dan who sailed away from Egyptian bondage to the land of Greece to found the ancient Hellenic civilization. Biblical prophecies were fulfilled by them also!

IN THE DAYS OF THE PHARAOHS, we read of an adventurous hero named Danaos and his followers who dwelled in Egypt. Then came an event — or series of events now corrupted by the mists of time — which caused them to be exiled by the Egyptians. Recorded history then tells us that they boarded ships in Egypt and sailed away to establish new homes in Greece.

The beginning of Greek history is often dated to this “exile” of Danaos and his followers — called Danaoi or Danaan — from Egypt. This event has been dated by historians to about 1450 to 1493 B.C. However, it is significant that the Hebrew Exodus from Egypt is dated to the very same time period: 1447 to 1491 B.C. Are these two events related? Could indeed the Danaan “exile” from Egypt have been a part of the Hebrew “Exodus”? An analysis of ancient records indicates that this was indeed the case.

How safe is Gibraltar and its Brit-ish Sovereignty?
 
Prophecy – Divine and Infallible, tells us that:-

Spain does NOT hold a Key to Gibraltar’s extremely “bright” future because The ONLY Key to its future Sovereignty is on The Flag.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY; undoubtedly and infallibly only ONE Key to Gibraltar’s future prosperous and secure self-determination and that is the ONE on its flag, which is there for all to see; except “the blind being led by the blind”, naturally.

Gibraltar’s Flag, which originated as the Ensign of the Phoenician/British/Israelite Tribe of Gad; who was Jacob/Israel’s (Gen. 32:28) eighth son (Gen. 30:11) and was Brit-ish not Jew-ish (Judah/Jew-dah -ish was Jacob’s fourth son and one of Gad’s half-brothers not his dad); has sadly been deprived of its best colour – The Ruler of The Universe’s colour – the colour blue, and He is definitely not amused by its removal (because He considers it to be an insult to Him and His Sovereignty of heaven – The Universe. The very first inhabitants of Gibraltar, since the Creation of Adam, were NOT Spanish they were Brit-ish Gadites who arrived between 1500 and 1000 B.C. and were later joined by more Gadites in 722 B.C., the latter-arrival being recorded in the Gibraltar museum as Phoenician.

BEFORE THE TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL were settled in the promised land, they were warned by the God/s that had created and fashioned them into a people of thirteen tribes, that they were not to commit idolatry or evil against themselves or their neighbours – if they were to do so, then God’s warned that they would be scattered out of the land that was given to them. But as they were punished forty years in the desert for idolatry, this time once in the promised land they would be punished seven times. A ‘time’ in the Hebrew calendar is 360 years, so 7 x 360 years = 2520 years. 2520 years, was to be Israel’s punishment years if they go against the laws laid down for them! Israel split into two nations in the year 970 BC, ten tribes in the North, and two tribes in the South.

The ten tribes in the North were called the ‘House of Israel’; the two tribes in the South were called ‘The House of Judah.’ The House of Israel in the North did decline into idolatry, and the Assyrians in 720/722 BC invaded the territory of Ephraim, Ephraim’s punishment period had begun. Manasseh’s punishment period began when their territory was besieged a little earlier in 731/733 B.C.. Although they deceived God’s with their backsliding, all the Tribes would fulfil the covenant – especially Ephraim, who received the full covenant from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel).

DURING MY 30 ODD YEARS AS A “BELIEVER” and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ I had a continual urge to learn more about what was written for us and how it affected Christians. In the interim, I have studied many different documents and listened to many “learned” teachers. In almost every case the source of the information was the Holy Scriptures. From early childhood I was taught that the King James Version was directly descended from the teachings of the prophets and that anything else was suspect. Where there were points that were just not quite logical and didn’t fit with other known facts the reason was normally given as translation discrepancies or language problems. For a while this sufficed and I went on with the learning process and was “growing” in the knowledge of the purpose of the bible.

However, some of the promises that I found in the scripture didn’t seem to fit into the present day concept of the Jew/Gentile world and indeed many of them could never be fulfilled by the Jew as we know them today. The little nation of Israel, while holding a position of endearment
among most of the evangelical community, had few if any of the traits identified as belonging to the biblical Israel. There were numerous quotations in the Old Testament as well as some of Jesus’ statements that just didn’t mesh with the modern day teachings. Bringing up such subjects as the “lost tribes of Israel” or questioning the propagation of the entire earth and all its various races from Noah and his wife (by the way, her name was Naamah, the daughter of Enoch) alone were certain to get you ostracized in most congregations. So, in addition to the promises I started to study the application of the various covenants, both in the Old and the New Testaments. This brought out the fact that every one of them was directed to a specific person or people and to no one else. The term “Lord God of Israel” is found over a hundred times in the bible and never is he referred to as the “Lord God” of anyone else. That caused me to investigate the quotations where God and/or the prophets spoke and to whom they were Directed.

It was Edmund Burke (left) who wrote “people will not look forward to posterity who never look backward to their ancestors.” This is not only a sound philosophical statement, but also a fundamental biblical principle. Our political, as well as spiritual leaders, would do well to take note of this, for our once great nation is being led by men who have lost their way and they are leading the British people astray. These men have failed to understand the great principle, of “remember and forget not”. They have, and one suspects deliberately, failed to remember God’s mercy in dealing with this nation throughout the ages, they have forgotten his many acts of deliverance. The result is that today’s politicians and spiritual leaders, rather than building on the solid foundation laid by previous generations, are building on sinking sand and they themselves flounder in the sinking sands of ungodliness, human ambition and vain hopes.

The act of looking back, is an act of recollection, of remembrance, of recalling past events, past blessings, important anniversaries in our lives, special events in our families history and in the history of the nation. The act of recollection is not living in the past, but is an important tool that enables the wise man and leader to avoid the pitfalls and mistakes of the past. By ignoring the past, men and nations leave themselves wide open to the very real danger of making the same mistakes over and over again, just as we see taking place today.

REMEMBER – REMEMBER

Again and again in the Bible, God’s children are exhorted to remember. In Deuteronomy 5:15 for example the Lord calls on the children of Israel to “Remember that they were servants in the land of Egypt,” and that it was God who delivered them. We too should look back and remember that we were also once servants, not only individually to sin, but as a nation servants of the Church of Rome, and that it was God, who in His grace and mercy set us free. We would have been slaves to the Third Reich had it not been for the intervention of God, yet today what these people failed to do by armed conflict, they are doing by guile. The British leaders cannot or will not see it; the words of the old song need to be remembered “Britain, never, never, never shall be slaves.” But slaves we will be if our leaders do not wake up.

In Deuteronomy 16:3 Israel are exhorted to remember their deliverance from the Egyptians and they are to do so through a special feast, the Passover (left). Then again there is Deuteronomy 25:17, when they are called to remember and a humiliating event in their early history when the heathen king crept up behind them unawares and killed a number of the people. So we could go on; these are but three examples of the principle of looking back. Looking back reminds us of what we were, where we have come from and above all the greatness of God and His dealings with us. As well as warning of danger, looking back enables one to take evasive action and build positively for the futur

ALTHOUGH the Bible is one of the most widely read books of the day, it is perhaps the least understood in all the realm of literature. The individual message which it contains has been taught for centuries and Christians thank God for the assurance of salvation which is theirs. The national message of the Bible, however, is ignored, and this is contained in the Gospel of the Kingdom which extends from Genesis to Revelation. This, British-Israel Truth explains and teaches – through a study of prophetic passages – that present events can be identified in the Scriptures as the period known as “the Divine Judgement of the nations”

Yet British-Israel teaching is no new persuasion. Its origin can never be traced with certainty, chiefly because throughout the ages scholars, and people generally, knew of the identity of the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples with ancient Israel, it being only in comparatively recent times that this knowledge became obscured.

This is no new religion; it is basic to Christian doctrine. Believers include representatives of all the many Christian churches. The differences which have split the Protestant Church into so many separate denominations centre largely in doctrinal matters. These matters do not form the basis of British-Israel Truth and are left to the convictions of the individual.

THIS IS THE LATEST FROM A MAN WHO VISITS ME QUITE OFTEN. He and another man researched my theory that we have never been free from the British Crown. This disc shows the results. I have states that we will never win in their courts. This shows conclusively why. We have the hard copy of the treaties that are the footnotes. This predates Schroder’s material, my research of the 1861 stats by Lincoln that put us under the War Powers confiscation acts, and John Nelson’s material. All our material supports that the real Principal, the King of England, still rules this country through the bankers and why we own no property in allodium. This is why it is so important to start OUR courts of God’s natural (common) Law and break away from all the crap they have handed us.

This is one reason Virginia had a law to hang all lawyers but was somehow, by someone, (the King) set aside to let them operate again. Some good people put in the original 13th amendment so that without the lawyers the King could not continue his strangle hold on us. James shows how that was quashed by the King. I am happy that James’ research of six months bears out my theory, that most people would not listen to me, that we are still citizen/subjects under the kings of England. My article called “Reality” published in the American Bulletin and the article of mine on the “Atocha case,” wherein Florida in 1981 used it’s sovereignty under the British crown to try to take away the gold from the wreck found in Florida waters supports this premise. James makes mention of the Law dictionaries being England’s Law Dict. you will notice lists the reign of all the Kings of England. It never mentions the reign of the Presidents of this country. Ever wonder Why? Get this out to as many people as you can.

IN CHRIST IN BRITAIN WE ESTABLISHED THAT A MAN NAMED JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA WAS THE VIRGIN MARY’S UNCLE. It was he, along with St. John who buried Jesus after the crucifixion. Joseph, in the tin trade, made a lot of trips to Britain, where being a rich merchant made close contact with British Royalty; namely Kings Beli, Lud, Llyr and Arviragus, who gave Joseph and his companions some 2000 acres of land, tax free. On these trips to Britain, Joseph took Jesus, as we showed through many geographical, historical and traditional references. The details of this study are taken mainly from “The Drama of the Lost Disciples”, by George F. Jowett. The four main topics of this page are God’s plan of Trusteeship, Joseph’s Company of disciples coming to Britain, the outflow of Missionaries from Glastonbury, and why England was chosen for the sanctuary of Christanity.Historians William of Malmesbury, Maelgwyn of Llandaff and Polydore Vergil all place Joseph of Arimathea at Glastonbury. Even the four Church councils of Pisa 1409, Constance 1417, Sienna 1424 and Basle 1434, mention that “the Churches of France and Spain must yield in points of antiquity and precedence to that of Britain as the latter Church was founded by Joseph of Arimathea immediately after the passion of Christ.”

Rev. Pitts: In entering the sublime arcane of inspired prophecy, we are deeply impressed with a scene that is laid in the land of Midian, where, from the burning bush, the voice of Almighty God arrested the attention of the wondering prophet:

“Put off thy shoes from off thy feet: for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.”

NO SUBJECT PRESENTED TO THE HUMAN MIND IMPOSES PROFOUNDER REVERENCE, GREATER CAUTION, AND DEEPER RESEARCH, than an elucidation of prophetic truth; and yet no theme has been more prolific of fanaticism among the incautious and adventurous in almost every age.

Whenever, therefore, an interpreter of prophecy attempts to tell when the day of judgment will come, just rest assured he is wise above what is written; for we are taught by the Great Prophet himself, “Of that day, and hour, knoweth no man; no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. “This Divine announcement should always quiet such unauthorized pretensions.
