THE regions east and south of the Dead Sea have been the last portions of Palestine to be explored. Among the few who have ventured as far south as Petra are Burckhardt in 1812, Irby and Mangles in 1818, Laborde in 1830, Robinson in 1838, Palmer in 1870, E. L. Wilson in 1882, Brünnow in 1896, Sir Charles Wilson in 1898, and an occasional missionary of late. Travel in these parts has hitherto been difficult and unsafe, owing on the one hand to the opposition of the Turkish government, which does not favour foreigners’ running so great a risk, and on the other to the wild Bedouin themselves, who usually plunder those who undertake to make the expedition. Accordingly Moab, especially Edom and the northeastern portion of the peninsula of Sinai, still awaits careful exploration ; but now, inasmuch as the sultan has firmly established himself at Kerak, Tafile, Shobek, and Ma’an, the danger has much decreased.

We hear a great many claims as to the beginnings of the Jews, who they are or are not. Yet it has been made hard to pinpoint the roots to the terms Ashkenazim and Sephardim, the two chief groups who together make up some 98% of those who call themselves, Jews.

You will not get much truth from Jewish sources on this unless you know what you are looking for. Basically they stonewall you with two bold and un-backed statements which tend to make the casual researcher say, “aha, that is what the terms mean”. Thus satisfied they look no further. The statements are made by rabbis yet Jewish historians are at last giving details which agree with facts given by European historians a long time ago. The two un-backed statements are, “Sefarad is the Hebrew word for Spain” and “Ashkenazim is the Hebrew word for Germany”. Now think about this, if this were to be so, then it stands to reason that all Spaniards could call themselves, the Sephardim, thus giving all Spaniards, Jewish rights to Palestine; assuming Jews have rights to the land. It also means that the Germans can call themselves, the Ashkenazim and lay claim to Palestine if the Ashkenazim have any such rightful claims. Yet for some loopy reason the Jews who claim that the terms mean Spain or Germany feel the terms only befit Jews. The real reason becomes clear with a little delving. It may also reveal the true reason why the Jewish lobby in the USA is so hell-bent on smashing the Iraqi leadership of the day.

FIRST, I WANT YOU TO PICTURE SOMETHING IN YOUR MIND. You are a German soldier who survived through the battles of World II. You were not really politically involved, and your parents were also indifferent to politics, but suddenly your education was interrupted and you were drafted into the German army and told where to fight. Now, in the Spring of 1945, you see that your country has been demolished by the Allies, your cities lie in ruins, and half of your family has been killed or is missing. Now, your unit is being surrounded, and it is finally time to surrender. The fact is, there is no other choice.It has been a long, cold winter. The German army rations have not been all that good, but you managed to survive. Spring came late that year, with weeks of cold rainy weather in demolished Europe. Your boots are tattered, your uniform is falling apart, and the stress of surrender and the confusion that lies ahead for you has your guts being torn out. Now, it is over, you must surrender or be shot. This is war and the real world.

I WAS BORN IN THE EASTSIDE OF LONDON within the sound of Bow bells so I am what used to be called a Cockney. Shortly after my birth my parents moved to Brixton in south London. Here I grew up and went to school, apart from a period spent in Padstow, Cornwall as a wartime evacuee. One day in 1950 while walking along Coldharbour Lane on my way home from school I saw something I had never seen before that greatly astonished me. I saw my very first Black man. Now if I walked down Coldharbour Lane I would be astonished if I saw a White man. Now 50 years later Brixton is more like an African township and has been nicknamed “Little Jamaica”.

Recently, I visited my old school in Sussex Road with two of my children. Today, 80-90% of the pupils are Black. Brixton Market, where I once worked for the barrow boys on a Saturday for ten shillings is now like an Eastern Bazaar. Indians, Chinese, Blacks, Turks, Greeks, the human assortment is as varied as the variety of strange food for sale. Brixton was once a peaceful and agreeable place in which to live. Now it is dirty and rundown and elderly folk are afraid to go out at night for fear of being mugged.

The object of this volume is not to cast fresh blame on authorities and individuals, nor is it to expose one nation more than another to accusations of deceit. Falsehood is a recognized and extremely useful weapon in warfare, and every country uses it quite deliberately to deceive its own people, to attract neutrals, and to mislead the enemy. The ignorant and innocent masses in each country are unaware at the time that they are being misled, and when it is all over only here and there are the falsehoods discovered and exposed. As it is all past history and the desired effect has been produced by the stories and statements, no one troubles to investigate the facts and establish the truth.

On the front page of the New York Times for March 11, 1953, the headline ran: Bella Dodd Asserts Reds Got Presidential Advisory Posts, and it reported that she, “swore before the Senate Internal Security subcommittee today that Communists had got into many legislative offices of Congress and into a number of groups advising the President of the United States.”

The New York Times reported on March 8, 1954 that Bella Dodd: “…warned yesterday that the “materialistic philosophy,” which she said was now guiding public education, would eventually demoralise the nation.”

In her book, “School of Darkness” (1954) she gives evidence to support the claim that Communism was a hoax perpetrated by financiers “to control the common man” and to advance world tyranny.
